ADDAX IMS remote electricity metering system

The ADDAX IMS remote energy reading system enables automated data collection. Data is transmitted to the system centre for processing, which allows it to be stored and analysed.

This system consists of smart meters, communication devices and software. The ADDAX IMS system enables the collection and transmission of electricity consumption data to the control centre using various communication channels, including the existing 0.4 kV – 35 kV power lines.

The ADDAX IMS system has been developed by specialists from the ADD Group, who feature 25 years of experience in developing technology for measuring devices.

In Estonia, ADD equipment is used by the following network companies: Viru Keemia Grupp, Imatra Elekter AS, TS Energia OÜ, Loo Elekter AS, Sagro Elekter OÜ. Today, more than 30,000 ADD remotely readable electricity meters have already been installed in Estonia.

Electricity meters

Multi-tariff (6 tariffs) electricity meters are designed to measure the import and export of active and reactive electricity in 3×230 / 400 V AC networks.

The meter is intended for use in AMI / AMR remote reading systems.

ADD Electricity meters meet the requirements of the following standards: EN 50470-1: 2005, EN 50470-3:2005, IEC 62052-11:2003, IEC 62053-21:2003, IEC 62053-23, IEC 61038, EN 50065-1.

Communication equipment

Communication equipment, based on PLC technology, is used to transmit data from the meter to the centre.

Router

The main function of the router is to collect and transmit data sent from electricity meters to the centre and to direct commands sent from the centre to the meters. Synchronization of meter clocks.

Medium Voltage Coupling Unit

The device is intended for connecting the router and the medium voltage cable, when using the MV communication interface, for data transmission via medium voltage lines.

Software

ADDAX IMS software allows you to centrally control the remote reading system, set data collection parameters, collect and store data.
